The definition of adverb which Zhu Dexi (1982) made is that "can only act as adverbial function words", the definition of intersecting words is that "they are adhesion words that only appeared in front of the noun or the particle "de".The intersecting words of adverbs and attributive words (Hereinafter refers to as adverb-attributive words) are modifiers that can not only act as an adverbial, but also act as an attributive modifier. The adverb-attributive words began early, but scholars’ research scope limited to the definition and POS attribution. However, it is constantly developing and changing and new problem has emerged, so further research about the adverb-attributive word is the needs of the development of times. On the basis of predecessors’ research results, this paper will crossover study on adverbs and attributive words, and the research scope is not limited to the ontology research, but statistics and analysis the adverb-attributive word in different styles and the usage of it in teaching Chinese as a foreign language on the basis of investigation in the corpus, thus expands its research space and provide theoretical support for the teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The functions and characteristics of adverb-attributive word are not a simple cross of adverbs and attributive words, In order to make a clear distinction of the three relationships. This paper adopted the multidimensional theory methods of Francis, referenced to Francis&Matthews discussion the variation in cantonese within a verb and made multidimensional analysis of its external and internal differences. The adverb-attributive word together with adverbs and attributive words have a certain difference in word length, inflexion and syntactic function, It also has a different semantic characteristics in the internal performance, The adverb-attributive word has a certain range of application, after corpus investigation, t is suitable for different styles. Compared with the official document and the literary style. Politics, science and technology style more inclined to use it.According to the multi-dimensional analysis of the adverb-attributive word, we conduct a comprehensive classification for it:Based on the word length, we divided it into single syllable adverb-attributive word, double adverb-attributive word and three-syllable adverb-attributive word; Based on morphological, we divided it into affix type and non affix type adverb-attributive word. Based on syntactic function, we divided it into primary adverbial adverb-attributive word, secondary adverbial adverb-attributive word, secondary attributive adverb-attributive word and primary attributive adverb-attributive word. Based on syntactic structure, we divided it into "shi Q de",O de N","QN","F de V","FV" and "F+VP", The top three are structures that adverb-attributive word is used as attributive word, the last three are structures that adverb-attributive word is used as adverb. Based on semantic, we divide it into hierarchical and non-hierarchical adverb-attributive word. Based on the style, we divide it into Multi-style adverb-attributive word and certain-style adverb-attributive word.By investigating the usage of adverb-attributive word in "HSK dynamic composition corpus", we analyze the acquisition order of adverb-attributive word from the aspects of vocabulary and syntax structure. Students’acquisition order is:on the word length, first double adverb-attributive word, then single syllables and three syllables adverb-attributive word; on morphological, first non affix type then affix type adverb-attributive word; on syntactic function, first primary and secondary adverbial adverb-attributive word, then primary and secondary attributive adverb-attributive word; on semantic, first non-hierarchical then hierarchical adverb-attributive word; on the style, first Multi-style adverb-attributive word then certain-style adverb-attributive word. On syntactic structure, the acquisition order is: first acquire adverbal then attributive adverb-attributive word. When the adverb-attributive word is used as an adverb, first acquire "F+VP" structure, then "FV" structure,"F de V" at last; when the adverb-attributive word is used as an attribute, first acquire the structure of "Q de N" and "QN","shi Q de" after.According to the analysis of the errors made by students from "HSK dynamic composition corpus" the acquisition error of adverb-attributive word is mainly that by modifier part is incomplete,"de" misused as "de" and misuse of parts of speech, it is affected by the applicable scope and the effect of ease of adverb-attributive word.There are still some compile problems in "New outline of HSK" and in textbooks like "new practical Chinese textbook", all ranks of adverb-attributive word in "outline" is unreasonable in vocabulary arrangement, the existing part of speech tagging to students acquisition of deputy district through misleading, as well as lacking of grammar points and practice settings. To solve these problems, we put forward some suggestions to the teaching material, and the vice of multi-category words teaching.
