Chinese adverb as the part of function words, their meaning andusage of complexity has become the consensus of academic circles, theadverb "dou" as the more important one is all the same. The pastresearch of adverb "dou" is mainly focused on the ontology, there arefew relevant research in the field of teaching Chinese as a foreignlanguage. In the process of contact with Russian students,the authorfound that students would have a large number of errors when they studythe adverb "dou". The four types of errors are involved, especially theomission errors. That is to say Chinese adverb "dou" is the difficult point.Therefore the author make special research and analysis about the errorsRussian students made while learning the adverb "dou" in order to be able to find reasons and regular patterns, hence to find a better learningand teaching strategies and provide reference for the teaching of adverb"dou".Paper is divided into five chapters:The first chapter is the introduction. The significance and status orthis thesis was described, then the research scope was explained, andfinally the research’s methods were introduced.The content of second chapter is to research the acquisition of theadverb "dou" about Russian students. The thesis collects data of errorsthrough surveys. This chapter introduces the objective and the result ofsurvey firstly, and then illustrates the design of the questionnaire, finallyshows the statistical results of questionnaire survey.The third chapter is to summarize the typical errors Russianstudents made while using the adverb "dou" and reasons that cause theerrors. The forth chapter is the solution. Based on the analysis above, thischapter puts forward four teaching strategies in order to help theteaching of adverb "dou".The fifth chapter is the conclusion. This chapter is to summarize theresults of the study.
