To enhance the students’interests of Chinese learning and improve the efficiency of teaching on class, the teachers should not only pay attention on the vocal language but also on the body language, which as an important teaching skill and has been actually paid less attention. The research of body language is not enough and there lacks studies between theory and application. After this research, as an most influent non-language communication tool, body language will get an better usage towards teaching Chinese as a second language class. This essay focused on how to use the body language on primary Chinese teaching class, researched on the theory, catalogue, characters and application of body language. By studying a lot of theories and learning from my own experience, this essay has researched from pronunciation, words, Chinese character and sentence through making examples and pictures. At last, we should know that the using of body language should be considered on the inter-cultural communication background, and we should also notice how to use the body language properly and avoid cultural conflicts.
