A Practice Report On The Translation Of Foreign Cooperation Agreement Of Sanhe City, Hebei Province

With the rapid development of Chinese economy and the deepening of globalization,China has gradually integrated into the world market. Meanwhile, international cooperation has increasingly strengthened and the signing of various cooperation agreements has also become inevitable. Cooperation agreement, belonging to the category of contract, is mutual constraints and norms and an important legal basis reflecting the rights and obligations of both parties. Therefore, its writing and translation are also particularly important. This paper, taking the translation of international cooperation agreement as an example, introduces,analyzes and summarizes this practice of translation. This paper consists of five parts, namely task description, process description, preparation before translation, case analyses and summary. Task description and process description are a general introduction of this translation practice. Preparation before translation mainly includes reading and analyses of original texts, reading and analyses of parallel texts and establishment of glossary. Case analyses are keys of the translation practice, which mainly discuss translation techniques and methods used in the practice from two aspects of words and sentences and summarize and analyze the problems existing in the first draft. Finally, in accordance with the main content of the chapters above and combined with the translation practice, I summarize the characteristics of contract translation and my own understanding.
