With the rapid growth of science and technology as well as the Internet,the demand of the public is becoming more and more diversified,thus giving birth to a lot of application software for different purposes,such as Alipay,WeChat,Weibo,Baidu,Taobao,etc.,but users must agree to the service agreement made by the service provider before they can use the application software.In addition,the acceleration of China's internationalization process and the improvement of its overall national strength in recent years have attracted many foreigners to study and live in China.Considering that,some application software is gradually becoming a necessity in their daily life,and thus the translation of the service agreements has come into being.A service agreement is a contract signed by both parties for a specific service to be provided,so the translation of the service agreement is a part of the contract translation.And the contract text is a branch of the legal text,so it is very professional.However,at present,the translation quality of such texts in the market is mixed.And due to the use of non-standard words,ambiguous expressions,loose sentence structures,or others,the legal disputes may be caused and the interests of relevant parties are damaged.Therefore,the importance of accurate and precise translation of such texts goes without saying.In this thesis,the author will take her own translation practices—??????????and????????as examples and take Professor Li Kexing's static equivalence put forward for the translation of the legal text as guidance to analyze how to translate contract texts from three aspects of deep meaning equivalence,surface meaning equivalence,and style equivalence,so as to make the target text as accurate as possible and ensure that the legal effect of the target text is equivalent to that of the original text.The author will select some examples from the translation practices to analyze and study the language features and translation techniques of the contract text.That aims at finding appropriate translation techniques for contract texts,especially C-E contract translation,and providing a reference for improving the translation quality of the contract text in the present translation market.At the same time,this thesis is applying the static equivalence to specific contract translation practices,which is conducive to the further development of the contract translation and even legal translation strategies.
