Workplace forgiveness refers to individuals in the workplace have the motivation and propensity to turn the negative mood and effects to positive mood and effects when offended. This article applied empirical methods, explored the content structure of workplace forgiveness, analyzed the antecedent variables and the mechanisms. Specifically, this study analyzed how organizational climate and organizational justice affect workplace forgiveness as well as emotional commitment, psychological security’s intermediary effects between the organizational climate, organizational justice and workplace forgiveness. The results of the empirical study showed that: 1 Under Chinese cultural background, workplace forgiveness is a multidimensional structure, including: forgiving-self, forgiving-others and forgiving situation. 2 Employees of different age, enterprise type, working ages has significant differences on forgiving-others dimension. 3 Organizational climate has significant positive prediction function for workplace forgiveness; Organizational justice has significant positive prediction function for workplace forgiveness. 4 Emotional commitment plays a partial intermediary role between organizational climate, organizational justice and workplace forgiveness, while psychological security plays a complete intermediary role between organizational climate, organizational justice and workplace forgiveness.
