Research On Exclamatory Sentences Of The Biography Of Heros And Heroines

Exclamatory sentences is part of the four kinds of sentences should not be ignored.Its main task is dedicating a characteristic, and the exclamation mark is a symbol at the end of the sentence. In the study of the predecessors,there are few results to discuss the modern Chinese exclamatory sentences in details, especially the study for exclamatory sentences in modern Chinese books is less. Therefore, this paper takes the Qing dynasty’s vernacular novel the Biography of Heroes and Heroines as the research object,on the basis of analysis in classifying the exclamatory sentences in the book,summing up the characteristics of concrete application of all kinds of exclamatory sentences, in order to form a more in-depth understanding of the exclamatory sentences in the the Biography of Heroes and Heroines.The exclamatory sentences of the Biography of Heroes and Heroines is in large number and the concrete application situation is very complicated. They express rich feelings by short sentences and diverse means. Through the exhaustive investigation,the exclamatory sentences in the book is divided into two parts to discuss according to the lexical markers in this paper. The lexical markers consists of three kinds,namely adverbs,modal particles and interjection and the frequency of adverbs is highest.Besides the single use of an adverb,this paper also analyzes the phenomenon of the simultaneous use of adverb and modal particles to express exclamation. The exclamatory sentences without lexical markers are mainly composed of nominal phrases,verbal phrases and adjective words,and most of them are exclamations of non subject-predicate structure. Through the study of the specific analysis of the two categories of exclamatory sentences, and then we summarizes the overall characteristics of structure, exclamation degree and influencing factors of exclamatory sentences in the Biography of Heroes and Heroines.The paper is divided into six parts. The first part is introduction, and it mainly introduces the paper’s research object, research status, research purpose and the significance,and the corpus of related instructions. The second part is the general picture of the exclamatory sentences in the Biography of Heroes and Heroines,and it analyzesthe exclamatory sentences in summary in the book as a whole. The third part is the exclamatory sentences using the adverbs or modal particles as lexical markers in the Biography of Heroes and Heroines, and it is the specific analysis of single use of adverbs or modal particles as well as the simultaneous use of adverbs and modal particles marking the exclamatory sentences,and the summary of their use features. The fourth part is the interjection exclamatory sentences in the Biography of Heroes and Heroines, and it mainly discusses the short and strong characteristics of interjection in expressing exclamation in the book. The fifth part is the exclamatory sentences without lexical markers in the Biography of Heroes and Heroines, and it’s mainly the classified analysis of exclamatory sentences which is composed of the nominal phrases,verbal phrases and adjective words from the structure and the summary of their different characteristics in expressing feelings. The sixth part is the characteristics of the exclamatory sentences in the Biography of Heroes and Heroines,on the basis of classification analysis of the previous chapters, it is the summary of the overall characteristics in such aspects as structure, exclamation degree and influence factors of the exclamatory sentences in the book.
