In translation, the necessary grammar analysis is indispensable. Grammar analysis is the basis of correct understanding of the original, and also an important bridge of the translation and the original. This article will reveal the important role as well as the effect of grammar analysis from translation from Chinese into Japanese and Chinese into Japanese through theory and case analysis.Any language is composed of pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar, which is not a simple accumulation of vocabulary but combinations of vocabulary according to certain rules. Language is also like this, as long as we master the grammar, we can smoothly realize the goal of translation. In a word grammatical structure is the foundation of language information and achieving translation goals. The famous British translator Nida once said:grammar analysis is a very important part in the translation for translation involves understanding and expression. In Japanese-Chinese translation, only understanding target language by word meaning is not enough, to accurately understand the sentences we should analyze the sentence structure by grammar. If the grammar analysis is not correct, the corresponding in translation will be in the deviation from the original, even wrong. Grammar analysis is to the original what our human body is to the skeleton. The original text expresess the meaning mainly through grammar combined by nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs and so on. So grammar analysis has a very important role in understanding of the relationship between the variety of vocabulary and clear meaning in the original text. Therefore, mastering the language grammar rules and analyzing the sentence structure accurately is the foundation of understanding and expression in translation. This paper will illustrate the significance of grammar analysis through example translation.
