Translation Practice Report-a Study Of The Translation Strategy Of Children’s Literature

This translation practice report is a study to the author s translation task of Stockton’sRound-About Rambles in Lands of Fact and Fancy. It mainly includes four parts, that is, theintroduction to the translation task, the description of the translation procedure, a case study,as well as the summary of the translation practice. The first part covers the backgroundinformation of the task and the requirement of the client. The second part gives an overallintroduction to the process of the translation, especially the preparation before translation.The case study is the main body of the report. In this part, the author discusses the problemsin the translation practice, and proposes several translation strategies. The last part concludesthis report.
