To convey the style of the original properly contributes a lot to a successful translation job. However, style is often influenced by the author’s personality, literary attainments, writing skills etc.. These factors are usually affected by cultural, social and political factors to a certain degree. Even though it is a challenge to convey the style of the original, it still can be achieved. On the basis of understanding what is style and the influencing factors of it, the thesis firstly analyzes the identifiability of style through adopting the principle of Liu Miqing’s stylistic marker system:formal markers and non-formal markers, and then takes his three models of transfusion:corresponding, recasting and decolouring to explore the feasibility of style translation.
