Achievement motivation is an important concept in the theory of social psychology. Achievement motivation is an internal mental process which the individuals think the work is important and want to be perfect. Parenting Style is communicated to children, parents, children’s attitudes and behavior of the parents expressed the emotional atmosphere of the collection. But the risk propensity is the tendency of risk events or results to decision makers tendency, is kind of a relatively stable personality traits to decision maker’s. College entrance examinations as a special and important risk decision-making, which influencing factors are also very much, but this study is starting with students from families rearing styles and student achievement motivation to deeply explore the intrinsic relationship between the three.The paper brings forward own ideas and hypothesis based on the results of previous related researches, collects the date on parenting styles、achievement motivation and College Entrance Examination risk propensity of 380 freshmen by the questionnaire method, also uses descriptive statistics, test, and correlation techniques for date processing to draw the following conclusions.1、The scores on mother emotional warmth and overprotective were higher than father, there exists signalization difference on parenting style. Students feel more mother emotional warmth and overprotective, but litter in refusing. Parenting styles differ significantly on the educational level of parents and students of different disciplines.2、The decision-making in college entrance examinations, whose risk propensity also significant differences in gender, parents of different disciplines and educational level.3、For achievement motivation of college, there were significant differences in gender, science and father educational level, the higher the father’s education level, the higher the students’achievement motivation.4、A significantly correlation between parenting rearing and achievement motivation. Parenting warmth emotional are significantly positively correlated to the achievement motivation, but negatively correlated in parenting refuse.5、The decision-making in college entrance examinations, the risk tendency is significantly positively correlated to the achievement, but negatively correlated in avoiding failure.6、Parenting refuse emotion are negatively correlated with risk tendency, but the warmth emotion is significantly positively correlated.7、The achievement motivation is an important mediator between parenting warmth styles and risk tendency. that parenting styles can directly affect both the risk tendency of students can also indirectly affect.
