Chinese grammar is lacking in the strict sense of the morphological changes, and Language order and function words are the main grammatical method. Although function words can not be into a sentence independently, they have the meaning to connect with notional worlds. Function words do not have the real meaning. And they have many kinds of use-methods. So the understanding and mastering for Chinese learners in Thailand is extremely difficult. The preposition as a kind of function words, Thai learners are very difficult to learn. The author found in teaching preposition error rate is extremely high, and have a certain regularity, it should pay particular attention.In this paper, it is under the guidance of the theory intermediary language,using contrastive analysis and error analysis methods.By Jinan University,College of Chinese corpus,Thongsook College students’ daily homework,analysis of Thai learners phenomenon error appears in the preposition.This paper is divided into five parts. The first part: the reasons for choosing the topic, summarizes the achievements of relevant researches about preposition errors, basis and method about study. The second part:through the corpus finishing, summed up the preposition errors. Namely:preposition omission, mix, redundant and improper position. Select the typical error rate high preposition carries on the example analysis of each error. The third part: the reason analysis of preposition errors occur,negative transfer mainly include Thai, and negative transfer of Chinese textbook knowledge factors. The fourth part: the reasons for the third part,put forward the corresponding teaching strategies. First, for the problem of negative transfer, advocating for comparative analysis. Second, to solve the problem of negative transfer of Chinese knowledge, the proposed combination of situational teaching. Third, the improvement of textbooks in view of the problems existing in the teaching materials. The fifth part: summarizing full text.I hope this study about Chinese prepositions will help for the Chinese learners in Thailand and Chinese popularity in Thailand in the future.
