The fundamental goal of teaching Chinese as a Second Language is to improve learners’language skills and interpersonal skills. It is completed by the interaction between teachers and students. Classroom teaching is the central link of Second Language Teaching, teacher-student interaction throughout the entire process of classroom teaching. So Teacher-student interaction is necessary and important in teaching Chinese as a second language. However, more research on this area focused on the theoretical study. There is fewer practice research about Chinese teaching in foreign country. Therefore, this article uses Chinese teaching practice in Thailand for example to research teacher-student interaction in teaching Chinese as a second language.This article is divided into theory research and practice research. Part of theory research, first of all, based on the theory of teacher-student interaction, analysis of components and influencing factors and application form of teacher-student interaction. And then concludes the organizational principle of teacher-student interaction. Part of practice research, by the specific characteristics of Chinese language teaching in Thailand, and then through the five types of phonetic teaching, Chinese characters teaching, vocabulary teaching, sentence pattern teaching and culture teaching to do case description and analysis. Trough the questionnaire survey to know the situation of teacher-student interaction in Chinese teaching in Thailand and analysis the teacher-student interaction was known and used by the teachers; the situation of what the students prefer and students participation in the teacher-student interaction; the effectiveness of teacher-student interaction in Chinese language teaching. Finally, summarize the current problems existing of teaching Chinese in Thailand and put forward corresponding improvement strategies and give some helps and references for teachers who will go to Thailand teach Chinese in the future.
