Since the 20th century,teacher-student interaction has been a hot topic for scholars at home and abroad.In the 21 century,with the rise of "Chinese fever",the study of teacher-student interaction in the field of teaching Chinese as a foreign language has attracted more and more attention and obtained abundant research results.However,there are few studies on teacher-student interaction in classroom focusing on novice teachers of Chinese as a foreign language.Taking 18 novice teachers of Chinese as a foreign language in Central China normal University as the object of study,this paper analyzes and studies the interaction between novice teachers and students by means of classroom observation and interview.The first part of the article is the introduction,mainly including the reasons for the topic,research objectives and significance,domestic and foreign research status,related theoretical basis,research objects and methods and so on.The second part is the analysis of the types,characteristics and existing problems of the interaction between novice teachers and students.As far as the characteristics of interaction between novice teachers and students are concerned,they can be divided into two types:verbal interaction and non-verbal interaction.The characteristics of verbal interaction are that the novice teachers mostly use Chinese to teach,the students are mostly evaluated with encouragement,and the speech act is habitually repeated,etc.The non-verbal interaction is characterized by the fact that the novice teachers often use smile but lack enough eye contact with the students,while the non-verbal interaction is characterized by the lack of enough eye contact.The main problems existing in the interaction between novice teachers and students are teachers' neglect of students'subjectivity,problems in questioning and restriction of interactive content,etc.The third part of the article is to analyze the influencing factors of teacher-student interaction in the classroom,specifically involving the novice teachers' own factors(such as teaching idea,teaching ability,knowledge reserve,personality characteristics,etc.),student factors(such as Chinese level,learning motivation,etc.)Individual differences,etc.),teacher-student relationship factors,teaching content and environmental factors.The fourth part of the article puts forward some suggestions on how to interact with novice teachers in the classroom,including enhancing the students' subjectivity,improving the effectiveness of questioning and constantly promoting their own development,and so on.Hope to provide a certain degree of help and reference to the novice teachers who will be engaged in or are engaged in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.
