Color Culture Education is indispensable from the perspective of cross cultural communication as well as from Chinese international education, for it can not only become the breakthrough point for learners to strengthen the awareness of Chinese culture, but also enable them to know culture differences through the different understandings of the same color, thus promote the mutual communication. The thesis first analyzes the similarities and differences of the five basic colors: red, yellow, white, black and green between China and South Korean, then focuses on the analysis of Korean students’ learning situation in Chinese international education. Finally, the text What Colors Do You Like? in Chinese Tutorial is specially selected to make a teaching design as a teaching case analysis of color culture.Although color terms and its relevant cultural teaching is not outstanding in Chinese international education, but in fact, either in daily cross-cultural communication or in the process of deep cognition of different cultures, color culture is throughout, which means that in Chinese international education, practitioners have to begin with the fine point of teaching, and penetrate color culture in teaching content, in order to better achieve the fundamental goal of promoting cross-cultural communication.
