The Study Of Ching-pai Ware Forming Technology In Song Dynasty

It is a important turning point in the ceramic history of Jingdezhen that Qing-pai wares produce and develop in the Song dynasty, which lay the solid groundwork of the ceramic industry center in China from the Yuan Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty. Since the 20th century 50 years, the majority of Jingdezhen Qing-pai wares have been continuously found form tombs, hoards, wrecks and kilns. The relevant study mainly concern the respects of dating and decoration, lacking of the forming technology.Recently, the increasing materials of Qing-pai wares provide significant object evidence for our analyzing the forming technology from the archaeological work in Jingdezhen Qing-pai’s kilns and domestic tombs.This paper collected the materials from kirn sites and personal collections,based on materials from tombs, hoards and kiln sites, analyzing the forming technology of Jingdezhen Qing-pai wares through ichnology method, dating by the transformation of Qing-pai wares’forming technology, and then finding out the changing pattern.And combined the internal and external causes, this paper want to find the reasons of Qing-pai forming technological change in the Song Dynasty and discuss the relevant forming problems in that times in Jingdezhen.
