With the rapid development of inbound tourism in China, there is an increasing request for English Tour-Interpreters. However, as lots of domestic English Guide-Interpreters arc still at a relatively low level, they always recite guide words in the process of interpreting.Based on the experience as a Tour-Interpreter for a French teacher tour group, the reporter provides the detailed analysis on difficulties and features in the process of interpreting as well as the corresponding solutions acquired by studying the theories by starting from the definition of Guide-Interpretation.This report aims to exemplify the common difficulties and features of Guide-Interpretation. Meanwhile, it has also introduced how the interpreter can improve their effectiveness in Guide-Interpretation.
