A Report On The Interpreting Project Of 2017 China Tour Of Prague Symphony Orchestra

With the process of globalization continuing to accelerate,the culture of the world is more diverse and inclusive.International cultural exchanges become more frequent today.As the link of culture exchange between countries,interpreters play a crucial role nowadays.What's more,the increasing demands for interpretation in cultural field provide many valuable chances for interpreters.This thesis is a report on the interpreting project of 2017 China tour of Prague Symphony Orchestra which is mainly divided into four chapters.The first chapter introduces the interpreting project including its background and requirements of the client.In chapter two,it describes the interpreting process.The third chapter focuses on typical cases in the process of interpreting containing problems of intra-language transfer and inter-lingual transfer,the role of interpreters,the selection of translation strategies,and psychological qualities of interpreters.The last chapter is the reflection after the whole practice.The author summarize the problems that arise in this project and try to find a solution for future interpretation practice.The author strive to combine theories with practices during the implementation of interpretation projects,explore problems that are easily encountered during the escorting interpretation and find solutions to the problems so as to inspire me in the future interpreting practices.
