The complement structure with”得”(de) is a popular term in modern Chinese which has a complex formation and no opposite syntax in foreign languages.Therefore, the use of the complement has caused several difficulties to language learners and thus it is an important grammar point in the teaching of Chinese. This thesis the author analyze the complement structure with”得”(de) in fives elementary comprehensive Chinese textbooks which are used popular. Through analysis and on the basis of related theories and our experience, comprehensive study the complement structure with “得”(de)in the elementary comprehensive Chinese textbooks.This thesis has five parts:The first part is introduction, introduces the purpose and significance of topic selection, research status at home and abroad. We also give a brief account of the data source and the symbols we will use in the thesis.The second part is about the layout of the complement structure with”得”(de) in fives elementary comprehensive Chinese textbooks. Through investigation we found that fives elementary comprehensive Chinese textbooks there exist certain differences.The third part is about the explanation of the complement sentence with”得”(de)in the textbooks from three aspects,which are Chinese-English explanation,examples,chart.Through investigate we know the strengths and weaknesses about the explanation and give some appropriate suggestions.The fourth part is about the recurrence and exercise of the complement sentence with”得”(de)in the fives elementary comprehensive Chinese textbooks. Found that there are some knowledge recurrence is not enough, the exercise types is too drab and the amount of the exercise is not enough, at last give some suggestions.The last part is the conclusion, summarize the full thesis.
