This paper selected The Chinese Textbook and The New PracticalChinese Textbook, which are used as a foreign language teaching materialin some of the colleges and universities now. The article based on thecomplement project of "The HSK Level Standards and Grammar Level",contrast analyses the complement types, complement order andcomplement grammar points and so on. I found that there are significantdifferences between the two sets of teaching materials and The HSKLevel Standards and Grammar Level in the above three aspects, wecannot simply judge which teaching material to write better. We can onlysay, in terms of the types and ord"er of the complement, The Chinesetextbook" more in line with “The HSK Level Standards and GrammarLevel “(JiaYiJi) requirements; In terms of the complement grammarpoints", The New Practical Chinese Textbooks"(early) more in line with"The HSK Level Standards and Grammar Level “(JiaYiJi) requirements.On this basis, this paper put forward that since as the main basis oftextbook compilation,The HSK level Standards and Grammar Level,why there are such big gaps between the it and the two sets of teachingmaterials, which edited and published by Beijing Language and CultureUniversity? The Grammatical items such as complement in the textbooksshould be how to layout on earth? These questions are worth ourthinking.The thesis included six parts.The first part is the introduction, its mainly about thebackground,the object, the method, the purpose,the signiifcance, and theoverview of the research;The second part mainly used data analysis and comparative analysismethods, analyzed the complement types of The Chinese Textbook, The New practical Chinese Textbooks and The HSK Level Standards andGrammar Level and their corresponding relation;The third and the fourth part analyzed the sequence and grammarpoints and their corresponding relationship with the same methods;The fitfh part is the overall assessment and analysis of thecomplement of the two sets;The last part is the summary, mainly summarized the main points ofthis paper, and pointed out the problems need to be futrher solved.
