Since entering the new century, international tourism market increasingly expanded and inbound tourists continuously increased, thus Chinese tourism culture industry has been developing rapidly and tourism has become one of Chinese most promising industry among all economic sectors. However, in light of sightseeing districts, development of tourism also means intense competence. How to design the business card and promote market competitiveness become an important topic that every sightseeing districts facing.Designing tourism business card involves the knowledge of various disciplines, such as management, tourism science, masterminding, communication, design science, and has strong practicality, thus it’s easy to be trapped in confusion and be impossible to research if you don’t do that from the perspective of a specific discipline. This thesis briefly analyzes the relevance between the design of business card and visual communication design through the specific application of visual communication design in Pinghe Zhangzhou’s tourism business cards, and the author are looking forward to summarizing the practical experience of tourism business card design which can be taken as an reference for other design of sightseeing districts, as well as enriching the research achievement of this topic and promoting the application and development of visual communication design, hence more integrating points could be found.
