A Report On The Translation Of The National Fire Protection Association NFPA~76 Standard For The Fire Protectionof Telecommunications Facilities

National Fire Protection Association NFPA76 Standard for the Fire Protection of Telecommunications Facilities is one of documents that a company asks Harbin Xingwen Translation Company the author interned with to translate. The duration of whole translation project was 15 days and was co-translated by two translators. In this paper, the related translation methods are discussed on the vocabulary, sentence and passages levels. Some representative examples were listed. Also, the problems that the author encountered and the deficiencies are discussed.
