For humans, the movie is the product of new technology, as well as the result of culture and art. Like other forms of art, it is created by man, and reacts on people. Tsui Hark’s New Martial-Arts Movie is an integral part of Chinese film. Its success is to show moviegoers the creator’s understanding of humanity through the creation of the sincerity and the operations of business. This kind of understanding of humanity is not subjective, but under the background of Chinese traditional culture, which shows and discusses the desire of humanity as a fundamental problem, as well as “Virtuous or Evil” and “Yes or No”, and then we will draw a corresponding conclusion.Therefore, New Martial-Arts movie of Tsui Hark is to regard showing and discussing humanity as its core value. As a city which has been colonized for more than 100 years, the culture of Hongkong has both Chinese tradition and Western modern. And the outstanding representative of the Hongkong film, Tsui Hark, is in this unique cultural background, the performance of the traditional, the interpretation of the human nature of the end.
