Martialart film has been the pronoun of Tsui Hark’s film based on the great achievement he has obta in on Martial-art film.However,Taui Hark insist on filming Martial-art film.Many Martialart films released in different period was directed by him or co-directed by him.The other sorts film of Tsui Hark can be divided into three types.Firstly,the innovating bol dly on horror film.There are two movies which is the try on horror film in the “new wave”tril ogy,following the <Putting the deep>.The horror films abandon the way of using ghosts and monsters to create the terrible atmosphere,adopting the methods of describing the doom and c ruelty of humanity instead with the tragedy end.Taui Hark addition the Hong Kong’s situatio n of an islet to his films apart from inheriting the tradition of using closure space to obtain th e goal of innovation bravely to horror film.Secondly,the many dimensions exploring on come dy.The amount of roles in his films which has become the “satellite” style from the “single sta r” style increased.What’s more,the contest prohibited in his films varied with the creation of obscure characters and clowns.Finally,the special trail on violence aesthetics.Though violence aesthetics has been embodied in the Martialart film,Taui Hark also try to innovate the function of violence aesthetics in a series of crime movies.He changes the characters of fast narration and lens edition,using more slowmotion concisely instead.The director try to doom the boundary of binary opposition in films,and find the deep character of humanity,even embody the man’s heroic spirit rather than flood ing sentiment in his Martialart film.Though these films filed,they contribute to the explore of the sort of film.The other sorts of films directed by Taui Hark also highlight the succession of Taui Hark with the Martialart film together,which proves that other sorts’ film contain the context that can’t be conveied or deepen in the Martialart film.So the analysis of other sors’ film is a paramount way to knowledge complexity and ri chness of Taui Hark’s film.
