The Five-year College Students Sense Of Hope, The Relationship Between Coping Style And Subjective Well-being

Five years vocational students are a special group in the college students,their specialcharacteritics in age,physiology and psychology are different with other commom undergraduatestudends among the adolescent.In recent years,with the development of positivepsychology,more and more psychologist began to pay attention to the positive characters ofpeople,and at the same time,they always did many research on interrelated study.And thepositive character includes the hope,positive way of coping and subjective well-being.There aremany researchs on the relantionship between way of coping and subjective well-being,whereasthe researchs on the relationship between hopo,way of hoping and subjective well-being arefew,especially for the five years vocational student.The samples of this study are taken randomly from three college353students in Jiaozuouniversity,Jiaozuo Finace School and Jiaozuo Broadcast School,and the rasearch on therelationship between hopo,way of coping and subjective well-being are taken by questionnaireand visitation. It adopts the adult dispositional hope scale,the simplified coping stylequestionnaire and index of well-being.The results show that:1.No significant difference between male and female group of the five years vocationalstudent on the general level of hope and its two dimensionality. No significant differencebetween different residence group on the general level of hope and its two dimensionality.2.One-child group of the five years vocational student have significant difference on thegeneral level of hope and its two dimensionality,the score of non-one-child students are higherthan the score of one-child students;The developmental tendence of hope in student fromdifferent grades are vicissitudinary,the score of the frost are the highest,next is the students offour grade,however,there is significant difference on the general level of hope and its twodimensionality between the three grade and other four grades;No significant difference betweendifferent born-area on the pathway thinking,but there is significant difference on the generallevel of hope and agency thinking.3.The general level of hope and the positive way of coping of the five years vocationalstudent present significant positive correlation,but the general level of hope and the positive wayof coping of the five years vocational student present significant negative correlation.4.The general level of hope and the index of general affect and the subjective well-beingpresent signficant positive correlation,but no correlation between life satisfaction and the generallevel of hope.The pathway thinking and agency thinking can forecast the index of general affectand life satisfaction and the subjective well-being.5.The positive way of coping and the life satisfaction present significant positivecorrelation,but no correlation between the index of general affect and subjective well-being.The negative way of coping and the index of general affect and the subjective well-being presentsignificant negative correlation.The negative way of coping can forecast the index of generalaffect and the subjective well-being.
