Strategy of invigorating the country through science,technology and education along with the strategy of reinvigorating China through human resource development are the two strategies we believe today.During the period that the education occupation of education occupies half of the education system,the physical and mental state of vocational students should arouse wide public concern.However,the recent status is that all the society paid less attention to vocational students,preventive measures are lacking in all aspects,many vocational students show significant anxiety.This study attempts to explore the mental health problems of Chinese graduates from two aspects:anxiety level and general self-efficacy.To explore whether there is a significant negative correlation between the two and whether coping style can be a kind of intermediation when general self-efficacy acts on anxiety level.The study aims to identify these differences and give the community more attention from the society,strengthen the mental health of graduates education guidance,promote the physical and mental health of the graduates.After a lot of research on Chinese and foreign literature,the state trait anxiety scale,general self-efficacy scale and simplified coping questionnaire were selected to complete the above study.The survey was conducted by 411 students of the Hubei Institute of Mechanical Industry.The main survey forms are interviews and questionnaires.The present study analyzed the status trait anxiety of all the students;the difference among the status trait anxiety,general self-efficacy and the coping style in the secondary vocational school and the gender,census register,grade and whether only child;the relationship among the status trait anxiety,general self-efficacy and the coping style.The results show that:(1)The status trait anxiety of most of the secondary vocational school students appeared mid-range and there was a small proportion of high anxiety status among them.(2)The secondary vocational students state anxiety and trait anxiety showed the significant difference in terms of gender,of which girls had higher level than boys;state anxiety show the significant difference in terms of grade and second grade students were higher the first-year ones;census register and whether only child showed the difference was not significant.(3)The secondary vocational school students general self-efficacy showed the significant difference in terms of gender,of which boys had higher level than girls,but not in terms of census register,,grade and whether only child.(4)The secondary vocational school students coping style showed the difference was not significant whether in terms of gender,census register,grade or whether only child.(5)The state trait anxiety of the secondary vocational school students were significantly negatively correlated with general self-efficacy.The state anxiety of the secondary vocational school students were significantly negatively correlated with the positive coping style and significantly positively correlated with the negative coping style.The general self-efficacy of the secondary vocational school students were significantly negatively correlated with the negative coping style and significantly positively correlated with the positive coping style.(6)The general self-efficacy and coping style of the secondary vocational school students could significantly predictive effect the state trait anxiety.The positive coping style acted as a intervening variable between the state trait anxiety and the general self-efficacy.
