Research On The Effect Of The Cultural Industry Agglomeration On The Upgrading Of Industrial Structure

As the integration of the Yangtze River Delta has been elevated to China’s national strategy,realizing the synergistic development of industries and industrial structure of this area is emergency.In China,industrial cluster plays an important role to promote the upgrading of regional industrial structure,and cultural industry has the characteristics of high added value,high technology and low pollution,which boosts the upgrading of industrial structure.Thus,doing research on the causal relationship and spatial spillover effect between the Yangtze River Delta cultural industry agglomeration and industrial structure upgrading is full of practical and theoretical significance.First of all,This paper summarizes and reviews the relevant literature.Secondly,this paper defines the concepts related to cultural industry,industrial cluster and industrial structure upgrading.Based on the characteristics of cultural industry and the external economic theory of industrial agglomeration,this paper studies the influence of the cultural industry cluster on the local industrial structure upgrading.Furthermore,this paper studies the carrier and path of the spillover effect of cultural industry cluster over different cities,and discusses the impact mechanism of the spatial spillover effect,which provides a theoretical basis for the empirical study of this paper.Thirdly,through the analysis of the development status of cultural industry and industrial structure in the Yangtze River Delta region,which provides a realistic basis for the following context.Then,we sets the Yangtze River Delta Region as the research sample and constructs a spatial Durbin model by setting the spatial weight matrix of economic distance,and empirically studies the spatial spillover effect between cultural industry cluster and industrial structure upgrading.In addition,in the empirical part,this paper also carries out the mechanism test of technological innovation and heterogeneity analysis by city size.Finally,based on the current situation analysis and empirical results,this paper proposes appropriate suggestions for the future development of cultural industry and industrial structure of Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration.The main conclusions are shown as follows: firstly,there exists a significant spatial correlation between the cultural industries of different cities in the Yangtze River Delta Region;there are some problems in the industrial structure,such as industrial convergence,insufficient and unbalanced development of industrial structure upgrading level.Secondly,from the perspective of spatial spillover effect,the cultural industry cluster is able to boost local industrial structure upgrading,and promote the upgrading of industrial structure in surrounding areas as well.Thirdly,from the perspective of heterogeneity analysis,the cultural industry agglomeration of large-scale cities in the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration can promote the upgrading of the local industrial structure;the cultural industry agglomeration of large-scale,medium-sized and small-scale cities can promote the upgrading of the industrial structure of the surrounding cities,with spatial spillover effect.
