Research On The Influence Of The Integration Of Culture And Technology On The Upgrading Of Industrial Structure

At present,China is at a critical stage of industrial transformation and upgrading.It is urgently necessary to take the cultural industry as an important focus of transformation,structural adjustment and high-quality development,to accelerate the creation of new economic growth poles,and realize the conversion of old and new kinetic energy.Since the Sixth Plenary Session of the Seventeenth Central Committee of the Communist Party of China has proposed that "scientific and technological innovation is an important engine of cultural development",the integration of culture and technology has become the leading model and direction for the prosperity and development of China’s cultural industry.In recent years,many scholars have proposed that the integration of culture and technology is an effective way to promote the upgrading of industrial structure from the theoretical and practical levels,but there is little theoretical analysis and empirical test for the specific action paths.Therefore,this paper sorts out the driving factors of industrial structure upgrading,and attempts to explore the mechanism of the integration of cultural and technology on the industrial structure upgrading from the perspective of factor structure optimization and consumption upgrading.The integration of cultural and technology promotes the productivity of cultural industries and increases the value-added of scientific and technological products through cultural sci-techlization and technological culturalization,thereby promoting the upgrading of the industrial structure of its own industry and cross-border integrated industries,which affects the overall industrial structure upgrade;in addition,the development of cultural and scientific integration has increased,accelerating the accumulation of social capital,and increasing the supply of highly skilled labor,which has promoted the upgrading of the industrial structure from the supply side;at the same time,the innovation orientation of cultural and technological integration has optimized the supply side of cultural and technological products and services,which not only meets the high-end needs of the existing market,but also stimulates potential market demand and promotes consumption upgrading,which promotes the industrial structure upgrading from the demand side.Attempt to construct an index system for the integration of culture and technology from an input-output perspective and quantify the integration of culture and technology in 30 provinces and cities in my country from 2009 to 2017 using the coupled coordination degree model.The industrial structure upgrade coefficient is measured by weighting the three industrial output values.The results show that,on the whole,the integration of culture and technology and the status of the industrial structure are in the stage of improvement and optimization,but there are also differences in east,middle,and west gradients.In addition,through the intermediary effect model,this paper empirically tests the impact of cultural and technological integration on the upgrading of industrial structure through intermediary mechanisms such as factor structure optimization(including capital-labor ratio improvement and labor structure optimization)and consumption upgrading.Empirical evidence shows that cultural and technological integration has promoted the upgrading of the industrial structure through the optimization of factor structure and the effect of consumption upgrading at the national level and the eastern and central regions,while in the western region,the cultural and technological integration has promoted the upgrading of the industrial structure only through the factor structure optimization effect.Moreover,the mediation effect of optimizing the factor structure is stronger than the mediation effect of consumption upgrading at the national level.Finally,this paper combines the above-mentioned research conclusions and existing studies to propose policy recommendations to promote the integration of culture and technology and promote the upgrading of industrial structure.Due to space limitations and the availability of data,the research in this article does not discuss the development level of cultural and technological integration in prefecture-level cities in more detail,but to a certain extent,it has enriched the regional research on cultural and technological integration and development in China.The research provides reference and inspiration on the upgrading effect of the integrated internal industrial structure.
