Besides, parents whose children are subjects with defensive high self-esteem shows advantageous parental rearing patterns than that whose children are subjects with genuine self-esteem.(2)There are correlations among college students’ parental rearing patterns, self-esteem and indecision.(3)In general, parental rearing patterns shows a significant predictive influence on college students’ self-esteem level and indecision while the rearing patterns that come from fathers shows more predictive influence. Among male college students, the parental rearing patterns that come from mothers shows more influence on their self-esteem level and indecision than that come from fathers. But the cases is different among female college students, rearing patterns that come from fathers shows more significant influence on their self-esteem level and indecision than that come from mothers.(4)College students’ self-esteem plays a partial intermediation role between parental rearing patterns and indecision.
