The author has done a lot of interpreting practice from September 11, 2012 to August 20, 2014 at Changchun Qinghua Education bilingual activity center. On October 8, 2015, the author did a practice on simulation of story interpretation for primary school students.Based on the interpreting practice, the author describes the background in the simulation of interpreting practice tasks in this report. On the basis of analyzing the source text, the author analyzes problems(mainly on linguistic competence, skills and other aspects) in simulation interpreting practice. The author also puts forward solving strategies for corresponding problems. Then the author makes a conclusion of the practice, pointing out the meaning of the research in the interpretation for primary school students.This report is a practice report on simulation of story interpretation for primary school students. The goal of this report is to provide some cases and reference to the interpreters who work in the relevant fields. Hopefully, those who do not know story interpretation for primary school students will get familiar with this field. The report contains four parts: the first part describes the interpreting practice task; the second part introduces the source text analysis; the third part presents problems in interpretation; and the last part provides coping strategies to the problems.
