The Study Of The Overlapping Form Of Two-syllable Verbs

In general, the overlapping form of two-syllable verb AB is ABAB, such as "encourage", "research". In this paper, we have tried to explore the verb-object of two-syllable compound overlapping forms, which rather more complex. There are two forms of verb-object of two-syllable compound, which shown as AAB and ABAB in the study. Most of them are AAB overlapping(such as walking, checking、advising), a few compound words overlap in ABAB form(such as paying attention 、 serving 、advising), very few compound words can overlap in accordance with AAB and ABAB two forms(like worrying, reminding). We aim to figure out the reasons and rules in it.Why it can be shown as two forms, what are the differences,we often find that the overlap roles in the sentence.In second Chapter, we mainly study about the two forms of compound and the overlapping range verbs, semantic features and major overlapping AAB grammatical significance given some of his views. This paper puts emphasis on the grammatical meaning overlapping AAB and pragmatic environment. The third chapter focuses on the functions in sentence that these forms serves, also the limitations. In order to find something different from other forms of overlapping specificity. The final chapter in accordance with students and teachers errors occurred while teaching Chinese as a foreign language, try to give some advice on teaching.Verb Overlapping has always been an difficult and important issue in Teaching Chinese As a Foreign Language, on one hand its grammatical meaning, on the other hand also reflects research and teaching problems.
