The Tragical Aesthetics Of Opera Savage Land By Xiang,jin

This paper will study on the opera Savage Land composed by Xiang,Jin, using musical analyse methods, to discuss the tragic aesthetics of this work. The first chapter is going to analyse the concept of the tragic aesthetics of the opera Savage Land, including two aspects: the concept of the tragic aesthetics of the drama Savage Land and the influence of Xiang, Jin’s personal tragical spirit on musical composition. In the second chapter, base on text-analysis, it discuss the tragical aesthetics demonstrated by four aspects: re-arrangement of the opera text, establishing the tragical atmosphere, the contradiction of the beauty and the ugly, and the tragical image-shaping.The third chapter will discuss the value of recept,history and reality of the tragical aesthetics of the opera Savage Land.
