In the concept of the Chinese people, the attitude towards strangers is complicated.On the one hand, we often hear don’t trust strangers, on the other hand, we are taught to return money and help others without pay. How to integrate these ideas in the progress of individual growth is an interesting problem. In particular, the individual to grow into an important stage of high school, bid farewell to childhood childish, and gradually grow into an adult. The high school students’ trust in strangers has attracted new attention.Under the background of Chinese culture, this study examines the trust of strangers in high school students. Through literature analysis, qualitative research and questionnaire, we need to carry out the specific research on the trust of the high school students. This study is divided into two parts: the first part is qualitative research. The second part is based on literature and qualitative research results developed the questionnaire of high school student’s trust in strangers, in order to have a better understanding of the high school students trust a stranger.The main conclusions of this study are as follows:1.High school students trust in strangers includes 10 dimensions: life experience,personal character, media influence, sincere attitude, stereotype, nature of event, the perception of risk, the cost of fraud, search for common and interaction.2.Trust in strangers includes three main features: stable factors, situational factors,dynamic factors. stable factors means trust with strangers with a certain stability,situational factors represents trust strangers with situational characteristics, the particular situation of information influence the trust, the last factor expresses the interaction between the individual and the stranger, and the influence of each other.3.The questionnaire of high school student’s trust in strangers consists of dynamic factors and static factors. Static factors are demographic factors. Dynamic factors consists of the cost of fraud, the understanding of humanity, the nature of event, stereotypes, and media influence.4. The questionnaire of high school student’s trust in strangers has good internalconsistency reliability, content validity and construct validity. Internal consistency reliabilities of the five dynamic factors are between 0.784 and 0.649. Half reliabilities are between 0.745 and 0.600. Internal consistency reliability and half consistency of the whole scale are 0.839 and 0.801.5.High school students trust in strangers: high school students trust a stranger there are significant gender differences, the performance for the boys to trust a stranger was lower than that of girls; in the other demographic variables do not exist significant differences.
