That classic frustration aggression theory, frustration will lead to aggression. But the researchers gradually found that whether frustration will lead to aggression, depends on two aspects of environment and individual. The explanatory style is a habitual made him the explanation what happen to him. The optimistic explanatory style people will think of failures and setbacks is temporary, specific scenario event, is caused by external reasons, so the effect of failure and setbacks only here; and the pessimistic explanatory style of people will bring cause setbacks and failures due to their own, and that this failure and frustration is permanent, will affect the rest of life therefore. The experimental approach from two aspects of explicit aggression and implicit aggression, exploration the influence of explanatory style, and gender on college students aggression during frustration situation.The research includes a pre research and formal research. The pre study is the preparation before the experiment, the experimental materials and test the effectiveness of the situation, to prepare for the formal study, and also explored the relationship between individual explicit aggression and implicit aggression. One is the exploration research situation, explain the influence on individual foreign style and gender explicit aggression, using 2 (context:frustration situation, no frustration situation)×2 (explanatory style:optimistic, pessimistic) x 2 (male, female) between subjects design variables as explanatory style, gender, context dependent variables were explicit attacks. The results showed that explain the situation, style, main effect of gender was significant, the interaction between situation and explanatory style is significant, the interaction between three other variables, there was no significant interaction. Study two is exploration situation, influence of explanatory style and gender on individual implicit aggression, using 2 (context:frustration situation, Without frustration situation)x2 (explanatory style:optimistic, pessimistic)x2 (gender:male and female) between subjects experimental design variables situation, explanatory style, gender, the dependent variable as the subjects of implicit aggression. It was found, context, style interpretation of the significant main effect, of other main effect was not significant, the interaction between variables was not significant.The results of this study show that frustration situation will only provide the environmental factors and the implicit aggression of individual strengthened and explicit aggression will increase, depending on individual explanatory style; frustration situation, a pessimistic explanatory style of subjects of explicit and implicit aggression is higher; the explicit aggression, male physical aggression and anger was significantly higher than that of women, woman’s verbal aggression was significantly higher than that in male, implicit aggression, there is no significant gender differences; individual explicit and implicit aggression are separated.
