Work and family are very important areas in our lives, how to deal with the relationship between them, to maintain the balance of the two areas, it has very important impact on people’s physical and mental health, business management, etc. At present, researchers have helped organizations, families, and individuals recognize the importance of balancing demands, so many enterprises have adopted the corresponding measures, such as flexible work system, family friendly policy, but the effect is not significant. The reason why effect is limited maybe that we neglected the role of the individual in the field of work and family though family and organization had provide much resources to help employees handling work family conflict. To sum up, this study is based on the theory of resource conservation, try to explore the following two questions by combining the questionnaire survey method and the case analysis:Study 1:Using questionnaire, we selected 349 subjects in our study, to understand their work and family balance, the role of perceived boundary control in family support, organizational support and work family conflict. The results showed that the boundary control people perceived plays a mediating role between the family support and work family conflict, it also plays a mediating role between organizational support and work family conflict. In addition, support from the family is more able to enhance the sense of boundary control of individuals than organizations.Study 2:Through the interviews with nine different companies and different position of employees, we explore how to obtain more family support and organizational support as employees, so as to improve the the sense of boundary control, promote work family balance, and we also try to find the reasons why people are willing to provide support.
