Taking Doumen District intangible cultural heritages as an example, in this article we talk about the effective research on how to inherit intangible cultural heritages in schools during the compulsory education. Through the questionnaire survey, interview and other methods, we get a specific understanding of the present situation of inheriting intangible cultural heritages in the compulsory education schools of our district. Through in-depth analysis and summary and induction, we find out several main constraints to the inheriting effect at our compulsory education stage:Firstly, most schools don’t have enough understanding of the knowledge of intangible cultural heritages, and they don’t have enough competent teachers on that field; Secondly, there is no effective carrier or platform; Thirdly, some parents’ motivation is low. Fourthly, the schools are lack of the guidance from higher education administrative departments, and lack of proper text books and teaching materials for intangible cultural heritages. Then, in view of the present situation of our district and the several constraints, we figure out some concrete and effective measures and strategies:Firstly, through the curriculum implementation, including developing local education textbook, launching local curriculum teaching, carrying out various forms of teaching competition on intangible cultural heritages, we promote the effective inheritance of intangible cultural heritages; Secondly, we digitize the materials of intangible cultural heritages, and promote the popularization of knowledge of the intangible cultural heritage by informatization; Thirdly, through the specific project of education research, we promote the effective inheritance of intangible cultural heritages; Forthly, through extracurricular activities, including inviting experts into the campus, cultivating young successors of intangible cultural heritages, and holding various of activities about knowledge of intangible cultural heritages, we promote the effective inheritance of intangible cultural heritages; Fifthly, through the classroom teaching, we promote the effective inheritance of intangible cultural heritages. Finally, the conclusions are drawn:Firstly, through the diversified combination of the intangible cultural heritages and local curriculum at compulsory education stage, we can effectively promote the effective inheritance of intangible cultural heritages. Secondly, through the combination of the intangible cultural heritages and local curriculum at compulsory education stage, we can effectively make up the deficiency of the contents in traditional classroom teaching.
