Studing On The Early Stage Of The Qing Dynasty Translated Imperial Examination

Translated imperial examination is a Qing Dynasty’s selection system which was sat for the Eight Banners. At present,it is always ignored in Qing Dynasty imperial examination’s research. Related research are as few as morning star,and monographs haven’t been published.This field can be described as a wasteland that we still need to research. My major is Manchu’s language and historical culture during undergraduate,so I have a lot of interest in Qing dynasty’s history. I hope I can contribute my efforts to make up some deficiencies in this field.This article was based on the summary of previous research results I collect date by carding and concluding Qing Shi lu and Qin Ding Da Qing Hui Dian, Qin Ding Ke Chang Tiao Li,Man Han Ming Chen Biographies I also search date by looking over the Qing Dynasty’s archives and collecting the scattered historical materials to write this paper. The main contents of this paper include the following aspects.First it’s a brief of the Qing Dynasty’s translated imperial examination. It include the beginning of the Qing Dynasty translated imperial examination, the system of translated imperial examination of Qing Dynasty, and the final establishment of the translated imperial examination. In order to have an overall sense of the translated imperial examination.Second introducing the process of translated imperial examination’s Wenchanghua and translated imperial examination’s reexamine system. The establishment of the translated imperial examination is according to the Wenchang imperial examination’s procedures and establishment. So translated imperial examination is similar to Wenchang imperial examination. This part mainly discusses the translated imperial examination’s some system which was studied from Wenchang imperial examination, including preventing cheating measures, and the evolution of translated imperial examination’s contents.Third we focused on the specific contents of the translated imperial examination, and revealing its characteristics. This part analysis the translated imperial examination’s specific parts.Then pointed out that it is simpler than the normal imperial examinations.It has experienced a long process of exploration to final form of a fixed test pattern,.Fourth we introduce the relation between translated imperial examination and the formation of new bureaucratic group.We analysis by listing the translated imperial examination’s selection rate, comparing with normal imperial examination. It is pointed out that the establishment of the translated imperial examination, formed the center of human’s new bureaucratic group.Fifth the evaluation of translated imperial examination. It both have positive sides and negative sides. It’s positive for expanding the stepping stone for the eight banners,.And it make Qing Dynasty minority regimes more stability.It also put forward the negative effect of the ethnic conflicts.
