English in the various professional curriculum system in higher vocational schools is in the status of the basic courses, this objectively caused the disregard for students of English subject. At the same time, because the students lack of solid English foundation, combined with poor study habits and learning method is not science, it is not clear of the motivation for learning English, English teachers’ teaching method is not appropriate, advanced teaching means is not a list of internal and external causes, such as students’ enthusiasm of learning English is not high, less exposure to English, the abrasion of virtually caused the students of the English language.This topic is made up four chapters, the first chapter: introduction, mainly elaborated this topic the research background, significance, through the literature research on language abrasion summarized research status at home and abroad; Chapter 2: introduces the theoretical basis of this topic related and abrasion, defined the concept of teaching reform of language; The third chapter: through the questionnaire survey, empirical research, field visits,classroom observation and other methods of Jilin province higher vocational English teaching tries to summarize and analyze the cause of language abrasion, analysis the correlation of language ability and the abrasion; Chapter 4: based on the perspective of language abrasion to the Jilin province higher vocational English teaching such as entrance English test is put forward, in order to grasp students’ English language level before abrasion; To build English curriculum system; Strengthen students’ English learning motivation, to guide students’ science learning; Careful integration of teaching material, encourage the “three main body”the self-made school-based teaching materials; Innovations of English teaching methods, change the way English acquisition reform path, etc.
