Research On The Realistic Problem And Countermeasures In Tianjin Community Service

Community service in China began to form in the1980’s of lastcentury; rapidly developed in the1990’s, and perfectly shapedin the21st century. Community service is the basis of socialmanagement system; it plays a significant role in the processof building a harmonious society. The paper introduces theconcept, status and classic model of community service from theperspectives of significance, background and status of thestudy on community service. The paper pointed out that China’ssocial services has entered the actual operational phase andget some certain achievements through the stage of theoreticalstudying and learning from typical foreign experiences. Thepaper further analysis the community service problems in TianJin on the bases of studying the development of the current TianJin community service status by actual community serviceactivities both in Heping and Nankai Districts. The articlefocuses on the measures of how to improve the Tianjin communityservice activities and hopes to be able to provide ideas andreferences for the Tianjin community service developmentmodel.
