The Macao Special Administrative Region and the Autonomy of Aland Islands is presentunder the form of a unitary State structure. The Basic Law of the Macao is a high degree ofautonomy model in China Special Administrative Region, and the Act on the Autonomy ofAland is a European success story. Under the general context, a comparative study of bothfeasible. From objective empirical evidence, not a value judgement, try both description ofthe situation analysis of the system of local self-government. By illustrating the powerallocation of Central Government and the autonomous local, understanding the sources andoperation with the autonomy, combing both autonomous systems. Through the comparisonof the Act on the Autonomy of Aland, further understanding of our Special AdministrativeRegion system, access on the local autonomy system and intuitive understanding of the basictheory.
