U.S. Food Safety Regulatory System And Its Revelation For China

We do not know when the ambition of Chinese all‐over‐the‐world‐eating become scarily all‐over‐the periodic table‐eating. Food safety incidents, such as Melamine, plasticizer, clenbuterol, etc., occur frequently in recent years. It makes “eating” turn into the one which should be thought over. To establish a whole process regulation mechanism from the production and processing to the circulation and consumption, the system of social work and the traceability system, to integrate the food and drug safety supervision system from central to local and even basic level. Strictly observe laws and regulations and standards, firmly control table of pollution with the most strict supervision and severe punishment, the most serious accountability, and ensure" the safety of the tongue ". Meanwhile, the food safety regulatory reform work is being carried through nationwide.Based on this background, this paper is a in‐depth study. The first part of the article selected topic background, significance, and the related theories are reviewed. The second part, from three aspects, including regulatory laws, regulatory agencies and regulatory system studying American food safety regulatory system, analyzes the reason why the food safety regulatory system can run efficiently. The third part analyzes about the present situation of China’s food safety regulatory system, and then find out the main problems in China’s food safety regulatory system in the legal system construction, regulators set, and regulatory security system. The fourth part, with the comparative analysis of food safety regulatory system between the United States and China, summarizes the success in the food safety regulation system construction experience of the United States and its enlightenment to our country, and aiming at the existing problem of China’s national conditions and specific existing problems, put forward some advices, including complete food safety supervision legal system, straighten out the food safety regulatory mechanism, improve the food safety standards and testing system, establishing food supervision mechanism etc., hoping to complete China’s food safety regulatory system, and provide the certain help to protect the safety of food.
