Since reform and opening-up, a large number of migrant workers keep pouringinto the cities for work, contributing greatly to both the socialist modernization driveand development of the cities,but as time goes on, the, elder generation of migrantworkers have gradually faded out of the stage of the history due to health conditionand age while younger generation starting to move to the cities for work replacingtheir predecessors. Limited by low literacy levels as well as defects of residencesystem, they face more and more pressures from life and job in city, among the newgeneration of migrant workers, the female are always at weak positions, the relativelyphysically disadvantaged new generation rural workers are confronting immensepressures from being discriminated in employment due to fertility and family issues.Therefore, not only solving their employment problem, improving quality of life areimportant means to promote the development of rural workers community, but alsothe need of reducing rural-urban gap, maintaining social stability and building aharmonious socialist society.The research studies and discovers the features and problems of the newgeneration female migrant workers’ employment on the basis of discussion of thecorrelated theories and women’s right laws and legislations so that thecountermeasures can be given in this respect. The study is divided into four parts, thefirst chapter is an introduction that illustrates the background and basis of thisparticular topic, purpose and significance of the study, research status both at homeand abroad as well as method and thinking. The Second chapter introduces relevantemployment theories and definition of concept, and is provided theoretical supportthrough the study of urban and rural binary relation theory of Marxism, combing withthe dual economic structure theory, domestic employment theory as well as femaleemployment laws and regulations, which also defines the concept of new generationfemale migrant workers’ employment. The chapter3sets forth the features andproblems of new generation female migrant workers’ employment by comparing the elder,younger male and urban working-women, explaining the emerging features thatnew generation female migrant workers possess in employment from the the aspect ofemployment channel, job expectancy and right-protection awareness, again, itelaborates the problems that new generation female migrant workers haveencountered in employment from the perspective of employment discrimination, laborrelation contradiction and employment pressures. The forth part covers solutions andapproaches to new generation female migrant workers in employment, in this part,relevant approaches and solutions are given respectively from the o resolve the newgeneration female migrant workers’ employment issue, from the aspect of authority,enterprise, society and individual.This paper is in the hope of putting forward relevant solutions and approaches tothe practical problems that new generation female migrant workers have encounteredin employment, providing useful suggestions to improve the new generation femalemigrant workers’ living conditions and make a contribution to build a harmonioussocialist society.
