The Legal Regulations For Protection Of Consumer Rights About Online Group Purchase-ment

This thesis analyzes the ways to further complete the legal regulation system related to online group purchase, realize the protection of group purchase consumers and keep a stable development of online group purchase market.In addition to the introduction and conclusion, the thesis is divided into five parts.Chapter1summarizes the definition and connotation of online group purchase. The article points out that the online group purchase is different with the traditional group purchase from three aspects. Then analyses the reasons why the online group purchase developed so rapidly. And lastly, studies the status quo of online group purchase in our country.Chapter2analyzes the legal relations between consumers, online group purchase websites and merchants from the aspects of different online group purchase participations.With the combination of specific examples, chapter3summarizes and evaluates the main legal issues occurred in the whole process of online group purchase. For example: fake group purchase, misleading propaganda, refund difficulties, and concealed consumption.Chapter4researches the legislative status quo, protection system and legal system of online group purchase consumer protection in the foreign countries and regions, then analyses the status quo and existing problems of legislation system, organization system and judicial system of our country.Chapter5compares the old and new Law on Protection of the Rights and Interests of Consumers. To solve the legal questions related to infringement to online group purchase consumers, this thesis proposes advises of establishing a comprehensive and normative legislation system, intensifying the regulation mechanism on the protection of online group purchase, and supervising the online group purchase participators actions.
