Criticism is an ongoing process throughout Marx’s life, as learners of Marxist theory, should grasp the inherent nature of Marxist critical theory accurately and comprehensively. From the critical perspective, this article has done a deeply analysis of the internal structure of modern civil society. An issue of material interests during the Rheinische Zeitung period caused Marx reflection on modern civil society which became a new beginning of constructing his theory of civil society. The contradictions, that between special interests and the common interests, between individual independence and common dependence, between human bondage and rational freedom and between the alienation of the human and social development always filled up the civil society. That made the society a world, whose communication is completely alienated essentially. Therefore, in-depth anatomy of civil society has become an urgent issue. In the superstructure level, Marx clarifies a realistic problem of civil society in18th Century-the relationship between political emancipation and religion emancipation. Meanwhile, he settled Hegel’s national philosophy comprehensively. In the level of economic foundation, Marx revealed the opposition between capital and labor in capitalist civil society through the interpretation of relations of production in the civil society basing on private ownership. Then he criticized alienation of labor seriously as well. Faced with various kinds of dilemmas and problems in civil society, Marx indicated that, only by eliminating private property, eliminating the division of labor, can change the present situation of civil society of complete alienation drastically. Meanwhile, only realistic motion can afford to overthrow the existing social system. Thus, Marx completed the transition from civil society to human society. Found a truly broad road to freedom and liberation for the human being.
