With the development of information technology, digital technology andcontinuous improvement and gradual promotion, new media age has officially coming.The new media has broken the limits of time and space, become a kind of newtechnique, has become an important part of modern communication system, isgradually changing and replace the traditional forms of media. The rapid developmentof new media, brings new opportunities and favorable platform for Marx’s popularity,also give the Marx doctrine of popular challenges. To make full use of new media,new media to play advantage, and vigorously promote the popularization of Marx,become the important subject of the Marx doctrine to strengthen theory constructionand practice.The development status and advantage of this paper deals with the characteristics,new media, in the back of Marx’s mass communication history, exploration of thedevelopment of the popularization of Marx under the background of new media. Thefirst part starts with the analysis of new media, new media concept, basiccharacteristics, and development trend; The second part of the combination of masscommunication related knowledge, trace Marx’s mass communication history,prominent three aspects around Marx’s mass communication theory, paradigmtransformation and history; logical relationships.
