Study On Community Integration Of New And Original Residents In The "Villager To Resident" Community

The "villager to resident" is one way of urbanization with our county’s development. The residents of the communities are not simplex, the residents mostly are foreign. Because "villager to resident" is constructed based on county, so there are different living method, different perception and so on. Community integration is becoming complex and challenging under the background.The study is based on a case of Jinan Q community, supported by community integrate theory, using interviewing method and investigation method to discuss community’s integration in "villager to resident" community, using subjective justice and objective justice to measure the interaction, the participation, the satisfaction and the sense of belonging between the old residents and the new residents. Throwing the measure, the author find that the two groups are lack of interaction, they mostly contact in-group. The original residents mostly participate in the community management, the new residents have the aspiration but lacking channels; the community are short of cultural activities and community organization; the original residents’sense of belonging are higher than the new residents. There are four reasons to explain the low integration, the benefit in the community, the laggard community management, the coexistence of the strong relationship and the weak relationship, and the difference of the culture. There are two ways to develop the community integration, separate the functions of the company and the community; the other is constructing the comprehensive serving center.
