Research On Local Government Public Emergency Management Mechanism

At present, China is in the social transition period, various social conflicts flared up, sudden public incidents occur frequently, causing huge losses to the country’s economic and people’s personal and property safety. How to handle the public emergency, maintain social stability, reduce casualties and property losses, maintain social stability, reduce casualties and property losses, maintain national long-term interests and public trust in government, and promote the all-round development of social economy, become a problem to be solved urgently. Local governments are often at the forefront of unexpected events, how to deal with sudden public events as an important indicator to test the governing capability of local government and social credibility. Therefore, the local government should be deeply aware of the urgency and necessity of public emergency management, should have the ability to handle all kinds of unexpected public events. We must establish and improve the emergency management mechanism, in order to real-time monitoring, accurate, efficient and reasonable solve to the public emergency.Based on this, the paper further improve the theory system of public emergency management, analyzes the problem and reason of public emergency management of local governments. Taking Binzhou city as an example, analyzes construction achievements and shortcomings of public emergency management work of Binzhou city, summarizes the beneficial enlightenment to strengthen our local government public emergency management. Finally, it puts forward the feasible countermeasures of improving public emergency management mechanism.
