Promote China’s Political And Social Stability In Transition

As the socialist market economy and the reform and opening up of continuous development and improvement. Our country enters a transition period of socialist development. Both the social structure, the socio-economic system and social patterns of interests have been occurred a significant adjustment. The concept and values of the people are also increasingly diverse. This series of adjustments and changes bring great vitality to our society’s development, promote the rapid development of social and economic, and enhance the overall strength constantly, improve the people’s living conditions. But at the same time, some hidden social conflicts and friction occurred. As social conflicts and contradictions special behavior, the group events also occurred frequently, and showing a growing scale, intense form, fierce characteristics. The group events seriously affect the stability of political and the construction of harmonious society. Therefore a reasonable countermeasure is necessary.Through using the empirical research methods and literature, and standing our current national conditions and social conditions, the author mainly dissert the proper path and countermeasures. Firstly, dissert the concept of group events and the progress of the concept of group events. And then from the perspective of political science, sociology, laws describe the meaning of group events. And briefly dissert the type and characteristics of group events. For the purposes of characteristics of group events, the author thinks that the group events are an expression of contradictions among the People. And the current group events showed reasonable demands, improperly features. Secondly, the authors dissert the reason of group events frequently occurred. There are many reasons of group events frequently occurred, mainly include the uneven distribution of social benefits, lack of economic viability, a big gap between rich and poor, democratic system is not perfect, serious acts of corruption, grass-roots lack of government capacity to respond to the scene, the interests of the poor and other channels of expression. There are some reasons for Ethnic and religious and psychosocial. Prejudice against the current negative impact on political and social stability such as, bad image for mass Party and government, the social crisis, the paralysis of public governance system, the negative "demonstration effect".The author think that we should follow four basic principles:the first principle of the scene, the difference principle, the principle of accountability, openness and transparency of information principles. Finally, the author put forward some proper path and countermeasures to solve the group events. The author think that we should narrow the social gap between the rich and the poor, promote social equity, vigorously develop the productive forces, enhance the economic development capacity, improve income distribution adjustment mechanism, establish the early warning mechanisms and incident prevention mechanism, smooth channels for public participation, and vigorously promote corruption fair, enhance the credibility of the government, improve the social security system and so on.
