According to the statistic standard of UN, China society has become the aging societysince1999. According to data of sixth nationwide census, aging population take much largerratio. Relative data indicates that aging people will take30percentages in gross population,and the number of aging people is4hundred million. As aged tendency of populationaggravates, the problem of supporting old people cannot be neglected in our society. So societypays close attention to the model of supporting old people.At this stage, family supporting old people mode are still main mode in China. Theimplement of birth control policy, much younger labor working in the city and the idea of“living with old people” and “visiting old people” changing impact the family supporting oldpeople mode, thus result in weakening function of the family supporting old people. Socialprovision for the aged can make up the family supporting old people, but social provision forthe aged is short of spiritual consolation and the family care. Meanwhile social institutionsendowment patterns and the model is limited by bed quantity and high cost. So socialinstitutions endowment patterns and the model cannot be generalized in society.
