On The Application Of Social Work Intervention In Elderly Home Care

With the intensification of aging and the weakening of family care functions intoday’s society, the "Elderly Home Care in Community" came into being. It fullyutilizes community resources to meet the diverse needs of elderly people, but the“Elderly Home Care in Community” mode in our country haven’t applied very long,and the practices development unevenly across the country, there is no maturemodels and methods of work in existence. Social work has unique philosophy ofself-reliance and working methods to provide a new perspective and ideas forElderly Home Care in Community and to make up for the lack in Elderly home carein community and improve the quality of community home-based care services.This study is based on A community "Qile school" project. The writer selectedthe community’ s early aged as the service objects. Under the guidance of theHierarchy Needs Theory and Empowerment Theory, the writer use the professionalcommunity working methods in the way of “the interaction among the communityto intervention in elderly home care in A community. workers in the form of homecare services to older age groups found the needs of the community, and to meet theneeds of low-middle elderly through home school. The intervention is aimed toattract the early aged to take a part in later community activities, return tocommunity life and to achieve the intervention goals. This paper attempts tointervene with specific social work to explore a suitable social work model forElderly Home Care in Community and provide some useful experience in this field.And sums up the difficulties in actual service, and puts forward suggestion to solvethe dilemma, constantly perfecting A community home endowment service.
